Welcome to Teen Minds Counselling, I believe successful therapy is as much about choosing the right therapist as it is the right therapy.
I gained my qualifications at the University of Greenwich and I am member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which is the principal body for counselling and psychotherapy in the United Kingdom. The BACP ensures that all members hold the appropriate qualifications and provides a strict code of ethics and complaints procedure meaning that members provide the highest standards of professional practice.
My path to becoming a therapist began with an Undergraduate degree in Childhood Studies and followed with a three year Postgraduate degree in Therapeutic Counselling.
I have many years experience working as a therapist. I have spent my employed time working in a prison for young offenders, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and the Priory psychiatric hospital on both inpatient and outpatient wards. I have worked with a broad range of presenting issues varying from mild to severe mental health.

Since having children I primarily work in private practice so am usually able to offer flexible appointment times.
